GUAXS-glass is produced in small, exclusive glass manufactories, which are specialized in making small editions for international artists and designers.The glass workers are usually working in teams. For such a team to work successfully requires a tremendous amount of dexterity, coordination and strength. To start the process, one of the workers gathers a small amount of hot glass from the pot onto a blow pipe. Then the glass master blows the molten glass into a metal form. The glass master leaves his own personal mark on each piece he creates. After annealing the glass piece for about 4 days, it is ready to get its distinctive GUAXS-look. In several com- plex and accurate working steps the glass surface is cut by the worker. The workpiece get its individual structure and identity. Every form is a real masterpiece of craftsmanship.
